In the enchanted Hu木an, which means forest in Malay, wiggle your fingers and toes through textured leaves, smell the flowers, and play hide-and-seek with Hornbill.

Spot Owl under the moonlight and help Kingfisher look after her eggs. Even passing rain brings cheeky Gibbons with a tropical fruit picnic for their new friends.

Inspired by some of the works in Tails from the Coasts, Hu木an is a multisensory, inclusive adventure for children with access needs and their friends.

Venue map

Adelaide Botanic Garden is wheelchair accessible from all entrance gates except for the Hackney Gate off Hackney Road due to its gradient.

The Garden has paved and bitumen paths running throughout the Garden.  There are some areas that have gravel or sawdust pathways. Most of the Garden is flat, though there are some steep pathways leading to the Sunken Garden and Threatened Seed Orchard.

Visit the Adelaide Botanic Garden website for more information about access services.
