Mindfulness is the compass in this meditation on solitude, connection and the space between.
Grounded in the present moment, Dai Trang Nguyen allows life to unfold naturally through textiles and mixed media. Created during her Kayangan Residency at The Mill, her large-scale, textile-based sculptures embody một, meaning one in Vietnamese, and reflect her journey through aloneness, loneliness, and oneness. The installation invites quiet contemplation on being alone and together, offering a moment of shared understanding amidst life’s chaos.
