Casting Call: Join Infinity Theatre Company for upcoming project

Infinity is a Melbourne-based theatre company that places young artists at the centre of creative decision making. Led by director Jackson Castiglione, ensemble members work collaboratively across all projects to create live theatre, immersive performances and workshops for national and international audiences.

From 21-25 October 2024, Inifinity and three of the cast from the Hong Kong production of All Things at Once will collaborate with South Australian actors to begin the development of a companion performance. This new work is a guise to see through the eyes of an emerging generation of young adults who face extraordinary change and opportunities in the years ahead. It's an attempt to highlight the brilliance, romance and at times, confusing agony of what it means to be young and living between Australia and Asia.

We are seeking three Asian Australian performers based in South Australia with cultural backgrounds from East Asia, Southeast Asia, South Asia, Central Asia, and West Asia. You could be a professional or amateur performer.

Audition Requirements

  • Age range: 18 to 26 years.
  • Having a background and interest in acting or performance and being able to share and write a personal story is an important requirement.
  • Be of Asian Australian heritage (including Central, South and West Asian heritage) and based in South Australia.
