You are invited to an audience with The Female Pope.
Witness Rakini Devi’s powerful transformative performance, inspired by the 10th-century Pope Joan and the Hindu Goddess Kali. In this interactive, durational performance, Devi challenges patriarchal religious iconography and traditional gender roles in society and religion whilst reclaiming power and protesting misogyny. Across three hours of sacred ritual, come before The Female Pope, offer your personal petition, and partake in a meditative encounter.
